Supported Platforms

BookYourPTO ships 63 column-mapping templates covering 48 platforms. When you upload an export from one of them, the columns are matched to the right fields without you doing anything.

You can search this same list in the app at Settings → Data Import → Manage templates, where each built-in template shows the data type it covers and how many columns it maps.

Canadian platforms

Canadian payroll and HRIS products are covered as thoroughly as the big US names — Avanti Software, Collage HR, Employment Hero (formerly Humi), Folks HR, Knit People, Nethris (Desjardins), Payment Evolution, Payworks, PurelyHR, Rise People, Wagepoint and Wave Payroll all have built-in templates.

Platforms with more than one template

Several platforms export people and time off as separate files, so they have a template for each. BambooHR, Employment Hero (Humi), Collage HR, Folks HR, Rise People, Payworks, PurelyHR, Timetastic, Vacation Tracker, WhosOff, Zoho People, Deel, Rippling, Calamari and Absence.io all ship both an employee template and a leave-history template.

Upload them as two separate imports — employees first, then leave history.

Platforms you can connect directly

Four of these platforms can be connected over their API, with no export step at all: BambooHR, Timetastic, Employment Hero (Humi) and Zoho People. See Direct Connections.

Everything else on the list is a file import.

If your platform isn't listed

Import it anyway. Choose Other / CSV in the platform picker — or Skip — I'll upload a CSV — and let column detection work on the headers. It matches a wide list of aliases per field, so a generic export usually maps most of itself.

Anything it can't place is left as unmapped, and you set it from the dropdown on the mapping screen. Then tick Save this mapping as a reusable template so you don't repeat the work — see Custom Templates.
