Signing in on the mobile app

The BookYourPTO mobile app signs in with email and password. Google and SSO sign-in are available in your browser.

The BookYourPTO mobile app signs you in with your email and password. Signing in with Google or SSO (single sign-on) is available when you use BookYourPTO in your web browser, but not inside the mobile app.

If you normally sign in with Google or SSO, set a password once and use it to sign in on the app.

Set a password for the mobile app

  1. On a computer or phone browser, go to your BookYourPTO web app (for example, https://app.bookyourpto.com) and sign in the way you normally do (Google or SSO).
  2. Open Profile → Personal details (or Settings → Security).
  3. Choose Set password (or Change password) and follow the prompts to create a password.
  4. Open the mobile app and sign in with your email and the new password.
Using "Hide My Email" or a Google account? Your work email still receives the password-setup link, so you can set a password and sign in on the app.

Prefer Google or SSO?

You can keep using Google or SSO any time in your web browser at your BookYourPTO URL — those options are always available there. The mobile app is the only place that requires a password.

Why the app works this way

To keep the app lightweight and compliant with the app stores, the mobile app keeps sign-in to a single first-party method (email and password). Your Google and SSO sign-in continue to work in the browser exactly as before.
