Learn how to use the Dashboard to view employee availability, track leave across teams, and manage workforce planning in real time.
What Is the Dashboard?
The Dashboard provides a centralized, real-time view of employee leave across the organization.
It is primarily used by managers and administrators to:
- Monitor employee availability
- Track leave distribution
- Plan team coverage
The dashboard displays a multi-user calendar grid with leave data across selected date ranges.
Navigating the Dashboard
At the top of the calendar view:
- The current date range is displayed (e.g., February 2026 – March 2026)
- Use the left and right arrows to navigate between periods
- The calendar updates automatically based on the selected range
The dashboard supports both historical and upcoming leave data for better planning and visibility.
Calendar View
The dashboard uses a grid layout to display employee leave.
Layout
- Each row represents an employee
- Each column represents a date within the selected range
Employee Information
Each employee row includes:
- Profile avatar
- Employee initials (if no avatar is available)
- Full name
- Department
- Leave indicators across dates
Department Display
- The employee’s department is shown below their name
- If no department is assigned, it displays “No Department”
Leave Indicators
Leave is visually represented across the calendar grid.
Features
- Clear date segmentation for easy tracking
- Visual indicators for approved leave
- Real-time updates when leave is:
- Created
- Updated
- Cancelled
Leave indicators provide a quick overview of team availability across the selected period.
Filtering Employees
Use the Filter option to refine the dashboard view.
Available Options
- Filter employees by:
- Department
- Other available criteria (if enabled)
- Reduce visible users for focused planning
- Improve clarity when managing large teams
Notifications & User Menu
Accessible from the main navigation bar:
- Notifications
- Leave updates
- Approval confirmations

- Access other modules within the platform
Notes
