Reports
The Reports hub gives managers and administrators a consolidated view of what's happening across the organization — leave taken, expenses claimed, hours logged, project activity, and scheduling — with summary KPIs, charts, and exports.
Reports is read-only analytics. It surfaces data already captured elsewhere in BookYourPTO. Nothing you do here changes a leave request, expense report, or timesheet.
Who can access reports

Department heads are always department-scoped. A department head sees only their own department's data — and if they have no department assigned, they see nothing.
The tabs
The hub at /reports is organized into tabs, each with its own charts and a period selector.

Each report includes summary KPIs at the top and chart data below, filtered to the selected period.

About "Download Excel" on preview grids. The export-preview grids currently produce CSV even where the button is labelled "Download Excel". CSV opens in Excel and any spreadsheet app.
Expense analytics
The expense analytics page has its own dedicated filters on top of the standard period selector:
- Search
- Employee
- Expense type
- Status
- Group-by
- Date range
It exports to CSV and PDF, and individual reports still offer their own Excel export. For the underlying expense lifecycle, see statuses & submission.
Plan availability
Advanced reporting is a Pro+ plan feature. Lower tiers may not see the full reporting hub. See plans for what each tier includes.
Troubleshooting
